El Capitan High School is now hiring a high school counselor / parent liaison.  As counselor, this position will work directly with students to improve behaviors that hinder their access to the educational program.  They will provide support to students in crisis as well as conducting risk assessments as needed.  As parent liaison, counselor will create effective communication pathways with parents keeping them informed of school events, student performance, and behavioral concerns.  They will also host parent education meetings.
