This position will be responsible for the transportation of students to and from school.  District is looking for safe, friendly drivers that are willing to work nights and weekends when needed for field trips and competitive events.

Applicant must obtain an Arizona CDL and then district will provide the bus driver training.

Colorado CIty Unified School District is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech evaluations and therapy.  SLP will work with staff, students, and parents to create effective speech programs for students. Position will serve both high school and elementary students.  District is willing to consider contracted services or payroll.

Colorado City School District is hiring a special education teacher/director.  This is a dual position.  Half of the position will be a teacher for a self-contained ESS classroom.   Teaching duties include classroom instruction, supervision of paraprofessionals, curriculum development, and IEP preparation. The other half of the position will be District SPED Director.  Director duties include supervision of all ESS instructional staff for Cottonwood Elementary and El Capitan High School.  This position will ensure district compliance with state and federal mandates, and create effective student academic programs.

El Capitan High School is now hiring a high school counselor / parent liaison.  As counselor, this position will work directly with students to improve behaviors that hinder their access to the educational program.  They will provide support to students in crisis as well as conducting risk assessments as needed.  As parent liaison, counselor will create effective communication pathways with parents keeping them informed of school events, student performance, and behavioral concerns.  They will also host parent education meetings.

Nine Month Position / Four Day Week

El Capitan High School is now hiring a Mathematics teacher to provide mathematics instruction in grades 7-12.  Candidates with a bachelor’s degree that has a strong math content will be considered with a commitment to meeting certification requirements. Teachers are expected to teach six courses.  A typical schedule would be four math courses, one advisory, and one elective. 

Colorado City Unified School District is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).  SLP will be responsible for speech evaluations, administering speech therapist services, completing speech Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and meeting Medicaid and other reporting requirements.

El Capitan High School is now hiring a full-time maintenance position.  Hourly wage begins at $13 per hour (Experience increases hourly wage).  Preference may be given to applicants who are willing to train as a relief bus driver.
